Frequently Asked Questions
Are premium lenses suitable for everyone?
No. A strict preoperative assessment is required. Patients with severe retinal diseases (such as advanced glaucoma, macular degeneration), corneal diseases, or severe astigmatism may not be the best candidates. The doctor will provide the most professional advice based on your eye condition.
Will there be glare or halos after surgery?
Some patients may experience nighttime glare or halos in the early postoperative period, as the brain adapts to the new multifocal vision. Most people gradually adapt and these effects diminish within 3-6 months. Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF) lenses generally perform better in this regard than multifocal lenses.
How soon can I return to normal life after surgery?
Recovery is very quick. You can engage in daily activities like watching TV and using your phone the day after surgery. Avoid getting dirty water in your eyes, strenuous exercise, and eye collisions for a week after surgery. Avoid swimming for a month after surgery. Generally, you can return to work a week after surgery.
